Gray Lady kicks up heels, shows Technicolor bloomers

Very strong Arts section in the NY Times today. Four of the Arts pieces make it into their top emailed articles (and Michael Jackson didn't). If only the Times could do that everyday. Essential reading, of course, but they need a blogger like me on their op-ed page, and some mad writing to spice up the officialese they affect. Really, their self-importance is maddening. They drone on instead of converse. They think they've earned their pedestal. Pshaw! You're a newspaper, for chrissake, you go out-of-date every day.
