Adam's blogbox: and you thought you had problems: how about the Christian in Afghanistan who might be executed if he doesn't convert back to Islam?

The poor dude in Afghanistan, Abdul Rahman, who converted to Christianity 16 years ago and was reported to the Afghan authorities by his parents two weeks ago, and -- says an Afghan Supreme Court judge -- "If he doesn't revert back to Islam, he's going to receive the death penalty, according to the law," well, that poor bastard proves one thing: the Muslim religion is the most intolerant, violent religion going today, with the possible exception of the Christians, who love our war in Babylon because it heralds the End Days and the Rapture. Why is the Muslim religion so intolerant? Because it’s medieval. Arabs have not had an Enlightenment yet, nor a separation of church and state. It’s really weird living on a planet in the 21st century when there are a billion Muslims living on the same planet in the 12th century.

Mind you, now that Muslim terrorists have given terrorism a bad name, other terrorists have ceased their terrorist ways: first the Irish, and now the Basques, whose terrorists have just announced that they’ll give up violence permanently and fight on via politics. Obviously the Spanish government has made a secret deal with them, so we’ll see what we will see. But heck, now we've got two positive side-effects from Muslim violence. They're scaring off all the other terrorists.
