US Diary: shock jock Don Imus and his sexist racist remarks

I could give a fuck what sexist racist Don Imus said. He’s supposed to be rude – that’s the job description of a shock jock. And I could give a fuck what Al Sharpton thinks about what Don Imus said. The propensity of white Americans to say sexist racist things, and the gleeful alacrity with which self-appointed spokespersons react to them, are almost equally odious. What matters is what the girls who were insulted by Imus say and think. Don Imus owes THEM an apology (maybe he should give them a vacation on his farm for free) not Al Sharpton.
