All you need to know about Bush's speech

Prediction: Not only will Bush become a lame-duck president real soon (if Sandra Day O'Connor hadn't resigned, he'd have blow-all to do), he'll also become a total bore. He's gone and spent his political capital on boring us. Iraq: blah blah. Social Security: blah blah. The reason 57% of us want out of Iraq, is because we're bored with the war, and bored with what the administration says about it. They keep repeating the same old shit when anyone with half a brain can see it's a fuckup. The reason Republicans will lose in 2006 is because we'll be bored. Stunts like the Terri Schiavo fiasco, or passing a law against flag-burning, don't ACHIEVE anything: they just bore the electorate into picking the other lot.
