Apparently, MM, a fairly well-known conservative blogger, got this email from a leftwinger:

I WAS pretty shocked. This is the kind of talk I associate with rightwing loonies. So why was I shocked that a leftwinger could be this crass? Don't know. But I was shocked. Weird, the high hopes one has for one's own crowd.
