Bookplanet: pre-suicide note of Hunter S. Thompson

From the NY Times:
A pre-suicide note written by the gonzo journalist Hunter S. Thompson for his wife, Anita, is to be published in Rolling Stone, his longtime literary base, The Associated Press reported. Douglas Brinkley, the presidential historian who is Mr. Thompson's official biographer, said the note, titled "Football Season Is Over" and written in black marker on Feb. 16, four days before Mr. Thompson shot and killed himself at his home in Woody Creek, Colo., may have carried his final written words: "No More Games. No More Bombs. No More Walking. No More Fun. No More Swimming. 67. That is 17 years past 50. 17 more than I needed or wanted. Boring. I am always bitchy. No Fun - for anybody. 67. You are getting Greedy. Act your old age. Relax - This won't hurt."
