Bring back the draft
I'm all for a military draft. If it existed, politicians would think twice about committing to a war that their kids might be forced to fight. The whole country would think twice. Bring back the draft. It would be a brake on war.

The draft? Never happen. The military doesn't want the sort of losers that broad net rakes in. One reason the Vietnam War was lost was the quality of troops.
