Your humble blogger has just been righteously squelched, squooshed and squiggled by warrior feminists, because of my smart-alec "Feminists urgently need a pro-sex feminist" post on blogcritics.org.
It occasioned a huge debate here, but you should see what remained of me at the excellent feministing.com, where I cockily entered the debate, only to have my balls handed to me on a plate, and rightly so.
This was the punch that laid out my ego flat on its shattered back: "So, your credentials here are that a) you like women, b) you like feminism, c) you're humble, and d) you've fucked feminists. You know, none of that really means jack shit, and your suggestion is still dumb-arse." Then she proved her point.
I'm a fuck-up as a feminist, that's for sure. Got work to do--starting with trying to get my tail out from between my legs.

Adam,
You're certainly not a fuck-up as a feminist, in fact the ability to revisit your actions and learn from them, and see your mistakes, is one of the hallmarks of a good feminist. Hell, I've made enough fuck-ups and I'd like to think I've managed to admit to a large chunk of them (the rest are locked in a trunk and submerged in concrete).
Btw, I finally got off my arse long enough to reply to your post there at feministing.

*high five* Your willingness to listen to women is a rare quality and one worth hanging onto. I'm not going to piss on you anymore. Unless of course you tell us that we are un-sexed again. ;)
