Kinky Friedman runs for governor of Texas

Kinky Friedman, who used to tour as the country band "Kinky Friedman and the Jewboys" before he started writing detective novels, is an effing funny guy. Read about his campaign for Texas governor in the smart-aleck New Yorker. I'll quote just one passage:
