Weird World: baby wins crawling championship
A ten-month old baby has won a national crawling championship in Serbia. Olivera Nedjela won the second annual competition in the town of Kikinda after crawling 13 feet in 8.6 seconds. Thirteen-month old Marko Spasic trailed in behind her in a time of 40 seconds but organisers admitted most of the kids had problems crossing the finishing line after stopping to pose for photographers. Olivera's mother Evica said: "Olivera's a strong crawler and sometimes I have problems keeping up with her. But today I have to admit the other kids seemed a bit more interested in the photographers who turned up than the race itself."
