Paul Celan

I'm looking forward to checking this out: Paul Celan: Selections. "The best introduction to the work of Paul Celan, this anthology offers a broad collection of his writing in unsurpassed English translations." Apart from his poems, it includes two prose works, The Meridian, Celan's core statement on poetics, and the narrative Conversation in the Mountains, as well as letters to his wife, René Char and Jean-Paul Sartre, plus essays by Derrida, E.M. Cioran, Friedrich Dürrenmatt, etc. A Holocaust survivor, Celan was one of the greatest German poets before he committed suicide in 1970.
